Among Us 3D - Fan project (2020)
At the end of 2020 a friend and I tried recreating Among Us in the Unreal Engine to get familiar with the pipeline and the workflows. While the friend was learning the blueprint system I modeled and textured all the visible assets of the map "The Skeld" and the Lobby.
My goal was to stay as close as possible to the source material and to recreate the feeling and atmosphere of the original game without giving it a new artstyle or twist. I also modeled the basic crewmen model in all three stages and rigged and animated it. Sadly we never came to finish the project due to many reasons, but it was a good introduction to gamedesign, gameart and gameprogramming topics.
Software used: Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Unreal Engine, Embergen, After Effects, Photoshop
