Murder In The Orchestra (2020)
“Murder in the Orchestra” is the result of a university course from 2021. The assignment was to create an intro sequence for a fictional movie or tv show based on a written prompt.
My prompt was: "Their passion for music brought them together but it will also be their doom. Tonight is the concert of their lives and it will be their last..."
All the shots were created in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane. My main focus for this project was on lighting and simulations. The fire simulation was done in Embergen and liquid simulations were done with Xparticles.
I chose "Life Must Have It's Mysteries" by Hans Zimmer as the track for the animation and shortened it.
Out of time reasons I got all the instruments from the internet and reworked them to my needs. Some were retopolgized, retextured and some were rigged.
